Have an oil painting with the signature Goldberg

It has small light bulbs in the back of the painting which are strategily positioned on the train all light up. I believe it is electric art. However it is old and the Artist signature is no legible to me. Please help! Thanks atvgirl123 ...

The signature is of two letter e's divided by a cross. Painted on board, I think. No glass. The picture is of a horse, and in the style of Stubbs.
