Has anyone ever wondered?

Who in the world chose the color for the standard pencil? It's SO random!! I was just staring at one earlier and thinking, "what is this color even supposed to be? and what is it called" what's the purpose of it? I'm just curious.

Hahah that's true, but WHY this color? Is ther a reason for it?
I don't know why this is annoying me so much but it is!
It makes no sense! Why not make them straight up orange, or yellow? Or even Brown?
This in-between color is freaking me out! Hahaha

Haha yeah me too. I once had over 50 gel pens, some of them were metallic, adn others were pastel, adn others were glittery adn neon and basic. it was insane, i used them all up!
