French Etching " The Yonne Canal,France" - PES? SZL? Roth

I have a French Etching titled The Yonne Canal, France. Mine is signed in pencil bottom right Francis Roth, does anyone know about this artist? In the bottom left corner is a embossed stamp or blind stamp of a circle and inside the circle are the names LAVALLARD & LUCAS along with a triangle in the center. I was told lavallard & lucas was a company that imported etchings from europe to sell in the US. Is this true and if so when was the company in business and where were they located. I can't find any info on them . The only info that came up when I searched was a few etchings done by Icart that had this same mark on them. Did SZL work with someone in Paris to bring certain prints over to sell in the US? There are no SZL or PES marks anywhere on the etching. However, the etching seems to be the same as others that are mentioned on this web site. There is a canal in the center with trees on both sides, a boat w/ a person, thatched houses, a wagon on the left with horses, and a church way off in the distance. There is a label on the back that reads: The Yonne Canal France, French Etching Artists Proof, Original in Color, Copper Plate being inked and painted by hand, hand made proof, published in Paris, Plate destroyed after the limited edition, #3/14. Any info on the etching would be great. Size of etching is approx. 25"x19". My grandparents gave this to my parents who inturn passed it along to me. Hopefully someone can give me some leads as to where this came from-mine seems to be a little different than some of the others who have this etching.

Thanks for the information on the link you posted. I took a look through it and checked out all of the listings, but was unable to find out any information. It might be that my etching will just remain a mystery, although I hope that is not the case. I guess I am just surprised that my etching does not have the PES or SZL marks on it. Others who have this similar etching all seem to have one or both of these marks located on them. Thanks again and let me know if you or anyone can help me figure this out.

Does your etching look anything like the style of art on the one listed on the following link?

I took a look at the Francis Roth etching on eBay, It seems somewhat similar to mine, the signature looks different .It's the same name but my signature is much more open and flowing not so tight and concise-don't know if that means anything though. Thanks for the heads up on the eBay etching. Were you able to find out anything about the LAVALLARD & LUCAS embossed stamp on my print? Was the information I was told about them correct? Thanks again for the help!
