Do you recognize this painting

hi all..
i have an oil painting maybe for 40 years and untill now the colors is still on it i dunno whats its name and i dunno if is it original or not ..
can u give informations about it and how can i know if its original .. and if it is could i know how much is it..? pleaze help meee

Odds are it is probably a copy, but I am very suspicious to think you may have something a bit more valuable. If you look at the subtle differences, you will notice that the view in the chair is different, and the background details are not as finished in your work. The pose seems slightly different, and the centering is not the same in both pictures. Could it be that you might have a working picture that was not exactly the desired finished project?
I don't know, but am wondering why someone would copy, and have those differences? Of course, it could be that it s just a matter of framing, faded paint, and different computer images?

Do you have any background knowledge of where your painting came from? How it was acquired? Anything of interest about it?

thnx 4 replying...all i know as my father told that a friend of him gave it to my father before 30-40 years..and as ic its frame is old..thats all what i know about it..
...any one knows more??

i think its colors is little pail becuz before 4-5 years the house was full of water so the paint was full of mold and we cleaned it and that why its like this..thats all
