| Odds are it is probably a copy, but I am very suspicious to think you may have something a bit more valuable. If you look at the subtle differences, you will notice that the view in the chair is different, and the background details are not as finished in your work. The pose seems slightly different, and the centering is not the same in both pictures. Could it be that you might have a working picture that was not exactly the desired finished project?
I don't know, but am wondering why someone would copy, and have those differences? Of course, it could be that it s just a matter of framing, faded paint, and different computer images?
Do you have any background knowledge of where your painting came from? How it was acquired? Anything of interest about it? |
