Boyer etching

Someone gave me an etching by an artist named Boyer. Upper right hand corner of the front side shows a copyright 1936 Camille Lucas (sp?) NY-USA.

The bottom left shows handwritten in pencil the words in French "Souse l'ecluse" (under the canal.) On the bottom right of the print is the Boyer signature in pencil.

The print depicts a thatched cottage on a canal near a small stone bridge. The print is in great condition. Any help or knowledge that anyone has pertaining to this print, the artist, date information and/or value would be most appreciated.

-Valerie

i have 2 boyer etchings with a label onthe back that says"
etchings carrying this label are genuine original french etchings imported from paris/
the artist placed on this etching thr triangle trademark enclosing the letters SZL as a special identification/ an etching is only genuine original whenmade entirely by hand and no mechanical process is used/trademark reg.

these etchings are dated 1935 1}Bord de l'etang 2}La piece d'eau

both have top rightcopyright 1935 Camilla Lucas.ny-usa
and in the bottom left a triangle with letters szl. Can you give a value of each please.
Thank you.

The response from scriptor-ga is very insightful.

Basically PES was set up by Sidney Z. Lucas, hence the SZL mark. He owned a printshop in New York in the years 1940 to 1960 where He
produced a large number of prints after old etchings.
Generally, prints by Mr. Lucas seem not to reach very high prices.
At the end of the day they look nice, but that's about it.
Most of what is talked about them is from people "boiler rooming" the price on the supposed French history.

I hope this helps.
