    Bali Wood Carvings
    Hello,
I just finished restoring an interesting and rather unique wood carving (possibly from Bali or Thailand) of some type of a creature (half bird/half human). It stands almost 5 ft tall and weights over 70 lbs. The carving is elaborate and details with fine details. The wood seems to be old and dried naturally for an extended period. I am wondering if anyone here can help to identify the exact origin and meaning of this creature.

    It's most likely Balinese.

I have a Hampton Bay ceiling fan in my bedroom. It is cotroled by a remote. Sometimes when it is off the down light comes on by itself. Any clues why?
