    1925 borin mfg. co. chicago
I found an old 1925 Borin photo in an behind an old picture in a frame. The photo is roughly 12x16 and is of a young woman sitting on a rock. The rock appears to be in water. She is wearing a blue dress and she has a white "headband" on her blond hair. She is leaning her head on something but I can not determine what it is. I appears to have small shells hanging from it. Above the woman is a small arrow pointing up and slightly to the left. Does anyone have any information on this print?

I have the same print, not sure of the artist, either, the picture is mostly dark green.

the artist was tracked down, and the answer posted in this thread.

I'm just curious why there's an arrow at the top. It seems more than a little random.

Not sure, I always was curious about that, it's about hope, maybe it's something about wishing on a falling star, just my thought, might be nothing but his signature of sorts, not sure if he does that anywhere else. Thank you again for your help. Now I'mj going to try and see if I can find a copy to give as gift for my kids, if it's not too expensive as they love my print. I think they argue over who's going to get it when I die and I'm only 55. Hahah. Just don't want them killing me for it. Hahah. Have a good night

I have this print. I can remember it hanging in the hall of my grandparents house. I am 80 so it is quite old. I was told the title of the picture is "HOPE". Does it have any value?

I have a really old landscaping print from Borin Mfg Chicago, Il. I t does not have date or Artist, but on the back of the frame it has Autumn Gold. It has to be early 1900's, also in the original frame. It is a scene of 2 trees on the left, water and mountains.
