Making a subdivison

Hey. For school, i'm suppose to make a 5000 x 5000ft subdivison with a bunch of stuff included for school.

Its a easy enough assignment, however, i'm having large amounts of trouble trying to find dimensons for the things I need. If anyone knows of a site, or knows themselves of how big each building is, I would much appricate the help.

I need approximate sizes of the following:

Apartment buildings - 200 units in each,
Elementary school,
Small Shopping Plaza,
Park,
Gas Station and
Semi Detatched Dwellings

Thanks a bunch for any help!

Try looking for websites that have zoning information for towns. You may be able to get the maximum permitted dimensions for those buildings.

Are you going to be making a scale model of the subdivision, or is this something that is just going to all be written down and drawn, like on an architectural blueprint?

Alot of these depend of how many stories you can build and how big the town is. Schools vary in size. Small shopping plaza doesn't tell us much. Semi detached dwelling could mean alot of different things. A park could be about any size.
