    Washer/dryer in basement
I have a washer and dryer that I am trying to hook up in my basement . I have a septic system and the main pipe going out of my house is about 5 feet high from the floor. How do I run the drain pipe to drain into the main pipe out?

Be sure you are in compliance with local codes. If your washer pump cannot pump against a five foot head, you may need a sump tank, with a float switch controlling another pump that will. For the dryer vent, be sure condensate, which may form inside the vent, cannot drip back into the dryer. Be sure the basement has a safe fresh air source, to make up the air the dryer discharges.
