How do I install an over the range Microwave.

I bought an over the range microwave oven and I need to know how to remove the old one and install the new one.

There should be installation instructions -- with your new microwave

But I can explain some of details to remove the old microwave

There are bolts that hold front of microwave up -- cabinet above unit

Unplug microwave. When the bolts are removed -- the front will drop down

A bracket holds back -- so you need to raise back and pull forward

This is not a one person job -- two people is usually best.. Remove

Then remove bracket that mounts on wall -- new one -- new bracket

Mount the new bracket per your install instructions -- measure down & mount

There should be a template -- place on bottom of cabinet -- drill new holes

Protect your eyes when drilling overhead -- Install and bolt up new unit
