Squeeky dryer... brown marks on clothes... brown patch on back
Ok, my dryer squeeks, I get brown marks on my clothes alllll the time from them getting stuck in the front part of the drum... and today I had to pull the dryer away from the wall... and there is a brown spot on the back. Here is a picture. I'm hoping we can fix this ourselves, I'd hate to have to spend $$ to get it fixed so close to the holidays!

The squeaking dryer is probobly a roller bearing or tensioner.
The brown spot on the back is probobly from the element overheating, if your element hasn't shorted already, then you will want to clean all of the lint from the blower chamber under the dryer, verify that the vent is clear. That should help eliminate the element from overheating.
