    Hotpoint Range
I have a Hotpoint (GE) range that needs a new baking element. The model number is RB787W0Y2WW. Can anyone tell me if I will have to remove the back of the range in order to replace the element?

UNPLUG THE STOVE there could still be power to one side of the element. You should be able to remove screws holding element and pull gently through the wires should come through too. If they accidentally come off then you will have to take the back of the stove off. The key word is GENTLY. Hope this helps. Bo
