Water heaters are shipped from the factory with the temperature set at 120 degrees. You didn't say so I'm assuming you have a electric heater.
If you wish to change the temperature setting, first remove the bottom inspection plate and you will see the thermostat,(see image). You may change the setting there. Good luck, Tom |

I bought my house in May and have been having a problem geeting hot water in the bathtub in the morning. The water seems to be hot everywhere else but the tub. It will finally get semi hot but winter is coming and I need hot water in morning.
