Kenmore Elite HE3 will not start

Kenmore Elite HE3 will not start. The door button is functioning so the problem appears to be elsewhere. Suggestions in manual are not helping.

is ther a code flashing on the screen? If there is I can help you. F@! is a clog and I know how to open it and clear it, and can talk you through it. If another code, Istill may be able to help. PS door can be open and unit will still power on.

If there is a code flashing on the LED display, I can help out. F21 is a clog, sock etc. and I can talk you through opening it to get it out. Any other code, I may also be able to help with. A note, the power can still be turned on if the door is open. so if NO power at all, check receptical first. Please reply.
