MY PT-52LCx16 won't power up.

Asked Aug 11, 2012, 12:25 PM — 1 Answer
My panasonic TV has been working just fine. No recent work done on it. worked normally last night but this morning when I turned it on the green power light blinks normally while it is powering up but about the time that I should be getting a picture I hear a click, the red Temp light blinks once and the TV powers down. When the TV is off the red Temp light blinks occasionally.

I have tried it several times and checked to be sure the bulb door was properly closed but get the same reults.

It sounds like it got full of dirt and dust and overheated. You may be able to blow out the dust with a good air gun like they have at some service stations.
