    Pre-fabricated homes
I purchased a pre-fab home last year. Its about 18 years old, and the previous owners took really good care of it. I need to know if there is a website to help with repairs and maintenance. It's a Fleetwood. Any help would be appreciated.

There are a few details that are specific to a prefabricated house, but much of that which needs maintenance is like a stick built house. There are good people here in plumbing and electrical and you can get good answers in some other areas too. You may need prefab tech if you try to remove a wall and run into the stapled and glued construction. The laminated structural assemblies are becoming more common in stick built too.

A lot of the things that are in both a prefab home and in a trailor are not off the shelf parts. A lot of them are smaller then the same things that are used in a house. So I'll tell you that you might want to be careful when you buy something for it.
