No fast spin

Hi,
I have a Kenmore washer. The slow spin (on gentle cycle) works fine, but the fast spin (on the other cycles) doesn't. Everything else seems to work fine, except when it gets to the fast spin, it will drain out most of the water (leaving some in the bottom) and then just sit there. If you switch it to Gengle (slow spin) then it starts up.
Any ideas on what to fix?
