    Model # of Kenmore Elite Catalysts Washer set to Kenmore 110.60936990 dryer from 1999
    I am experiencing weird problems with my top of the line Kenmore Elite Catalysts washing machine. I bought the washer and dryer as a pair for about $1700 in 1999. The dryer model # is 110.60936990 but the sticker has worn off the washer so I do not know the model #. I think it could be 110.22056100 but I'm not sure and I'm wanting to obtain an owner's manual from Sear's Parts center. There is a special setting button and it stores certain options and the next time you press that button, it will wash the same way. Well now, that is the only way I can get the washer to start and then I press Permanent Press next. Sometimes this works and it washes fine. Sometimes it decides it isn't going to come on at all. Sometimes I can unplug it and plug it back in and it will work and sometimes NOTHING. I can wait a couple of days and it will work again but only by the strange special setting routine. Does anyone know the model # of this washer so I can get a manual and try to see what the heck is going on with it?

    HELP!!

    I purchased our Sears Elite Catalyst washer and dryer combination in April of 2001. It has essentially been a pretty good pair with a few minor repairs over ten years. My wonderful husband leaned on the door with all his weight after changing the light bulb. Please imagine the damage this caused. The door does not shut properly. Can this be fixed and is it worth repairing. The hinges are obviously bent and the area where the hinges work. Please respond promptly. Thank you.

    Hi jennifer, those digital model are a pain in butt to diagnois, it should have a tech sheet (maybe inside the cabinet) that will help. Sounds to me like you have a button sticking. When it does work note what buttons you push and maybe that'll point you to the sticky one. Good luck

    P.S. Did you check for a model # under the door?
