11 Answers I have a Maytag washing machine mfg. Around 1913. It was in my basement when I
Bought the house and it must weigh 300 lbs. - maybe a little less. Is there any way to
Get it out of the basement because even if it could be lifted, it wouldn't fit on the stairs
And at the top of the stairs there is a sharp left turn into the kitchen. I would be so

Try listing it on ebay. You never know.

| | | Yes, I would try selling it and having someone coming to get it out so you don't have to deal with it. You can post it on ebay or try posting it on craigslist.
