Maytag refrigertor light bulbs will work. I replaced both of them and am not sure what the problem might be. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time and help

You'll have to open up the area to get into the light bulb and check the wiring. It's likely that somewhere in the refrigerator (often behind the grill at the bottom of the refrigerator), there will be a wiring diagram. If you have the skills to do this safely, you can probably find the problem.

The best place to start is with a voltmeter. Remove the light bulb and use the prods to check for power at the light bulb contacts. If you find that power is there, then something is bent out of shape. You should be able to fix that.

Don't do anything if you aren't comfortable working with electricity!
