    Kenmore washing machine will not spin or drain
    Kenmore washer model 110.29812890 does not spin or drain. Sometimes if the hood is slammed it will spin and drain. Would this mean the lid switch is going and can I change it without difficulty? Does anyone have directions on how to change the lid switch if that is what you think is wrong?

    Yes, it is the lid switch.

Kenmore washing machine spin cycle [ 2 Answers ]

My Kenmore washer will go through the wash cylce but when it reaches the spin cycle the water will drain out but will not spin out. I did replace the motor isolation cupling, but that did not take care of the problem. I'm thinking that the control magnet could be the culprit. Any thoughts?? LAJ
