Kenmore Series 80 Washing Machine

My Kenmore Series 80 Washing Machine which is only 13 months old, is not turning on. It stopped in the middle of a cycle and is full of water which will not drain. Any suggestions on how to drain the water and get this thing going again?

If the washer is in the garage, you can take the drain hose and lower to the ground, creating syphoning condition. The problem is probably the pump. Either it is split, or something is stuck in it. Remove the cabinet, and the pump is right in front, easily removed and replaced if needec
