Kenmore Gas Dryer won't heat after 5 minutes

Hi,

My Kenmore Gas dryer, over 12 years old, model # 110.8754 5100, ignites and blows gas just for few minutes and stops burning. The drum is still running. I turn it off and wait for 15 minutes until the temperatur goes down. I turn the dryer back on and it blows gas and burns again. Just burning for a few minutes.
I’ve checked the following:
- 4” Outlet hose: no leek
- Screen filter: clean
- Open the back panel and see 3 elements, look like switches. I pulled out 1 wire and used Ohm-meter to check the switch, ohm-meter shakes (Is it OK?)
- Open the bottom panel and see the holder of igniter, with 2 wires. I checked Igniter with Ohm-meter and it shakes.

Can you help me to find out what’s wrong with my gas dryer. I don’t want to buy eletronic parts while I don’t know the problems. They are eventually expensive, thermostat or igniter cost about $30 and not returnabled.

Thanks.

it could be an igniter switch or flame detector but I can't figure out how to get to it
