Kenmore gas dryer chatters but works

I have a 10 year old Kenmore gas dryer model 77902. In the past, I've heard it click every now and then while the dryer was operating but now that click has become a 10-15 second chatter. The dryer still works (heats/rotates/etc) other than that... Any thoughts on what to check would be greatly appreciated...
