Kenmore El;ite HE3 washer. "F" variable DL

My wash load stopped mid-cycle and the display states "F" dL. I tried pressing drain & spin but to no avail. I have called for a service rep and the soonest I can get help is January 9th. In the meantime, my laundry sits locked in the barrel of the washer and I cannot get the door to unlock... this is flipping frustrating.
Thanks to anyone who might be able to help
