Thanks for the back up ballenger, perhaps cespears doesnt realize that I do not work for kenmore nor do I keep track of when each model number is produced. I have never seen these parts fail after only two years of service so generally it is my recommendation to simply replace outdated units. Since this unit is only two years old if the desire is to repair rather than replace perhaps this will help. Good luck

Yea, I've got bad marks as well for trying to help others. So many times they just do not give enough info but want an instant fix. In the applaince repair business, you see so many different units I also cannot nor even try to keep up with model #'s. But we all do the best we can here.
