I noticed that the clean light flashing follows a pattern. By taking the cadence from the initial flashes, it flashes 8 times in a row, rests for two count and then flashes again and waits for some time and then repeats.

Does anybody know where the error codes are listed that would tell me specifically what this error code sequence means?

i have a kenmore dishwasher with 5 flashing lights
unpluged it for 10 minutes it ran for a couple of minutes then still 5 flashing lights again
the flashing are
washing
drying
sanatize
clean
and 6 hour delay

Since my dishwasher was a new one, I had them come out and fix it.

When he pulled off the kick panel, there were some sheets of paper that listed the error codes and their meening.

I my case, the error code of eight and two indicated one of several problems with the water supply and or level. He started the washer and waited a few minutes, and then looked inside and said that there was not enough water (his experience told him that). He then took off the water supply valve and found junk in it from the water supply line. After replacing that, the unit runs fine.

Since this house has had a diswasher in it for about 30 years, he said that it was a common problem, and that the process of installing and moving the supply line breaks junk free. He suggested that if I have further problems, to replace the supply line with a new flexible one.
