Try adjusting the humistat (knob) so the unit just barely kicks on. Some older units fail to cycle on and off if they are set too low. They are susposed to frost up but then they shut off so the frost melts and drips into the tray.

Is there a dehumidifier/window unit?. [ 3 Answers ]

I am so tired of having to empty my dehumidifier every day and I don't have a basement drain. Does anyone know if a window unit exists?
