ice maker problems

My ice maker trays do not fill up with water, but I am getting water from the water slot. The arm goes up and down like it is working, but no water fills trays.

YOu have a dual water valveon this unit. The side that flows to water could be fine and the ice maker side could be bad. Reverse the lead on it and see if you get water to the ice maker and not to the water side. . If this solves the problem, replace the valve. It's not expensive, about $35. If it does not solve the problem, the icemaker is bad and needs replaced. About $125- 150
