    Hamton Bay ceiling fan light blinks on an off when turned on
    This is a replacement controller for one that went bad. When you turn the lights on with the controller they will blink on and off continually . Have checked the wiring and it is good. Fan runs OK. About every ten or so times it will turn on blink a few times then stay on.

    I suggest that the replacement controller is defective.

I can't seem to find a way to remove the cap from this celing fan so that I can change the light bulb. The fan has three tiers, the middle is where the blades are. The fan is a Hampton Bay Windward in white with the frosted glass. Can anyone help?:confused:
