Haier Refrigerator Vent

I have a Haier 10 cubic foot refrigerator that has an awful smell coming out of the back vent. For days this smell has been in the house and I thought it was everything from the bathroom to the dog. I do not know what to do as it is not in the refrigerator but coming from the back vent. Please advise!

While not familiar with your particular fridge, it sounds like there is something in the condensate pan near your compressor that's causing the odor. If there is a small piece of cardboard with holes in it, you can remove that and see. It's possinlt that your condensor is pretty dusty and could use a vacuuming.
