GE washer start/pause

The model # is WBXE2070AOWW is whats listed
on the label on back of ge washer.
When turning washer on you have to
keep pushing the start/pause button to start it or
after it finally starts the same problem happens
when you try to pause cycle. is this a touch pad control
or is it a electric switch that i can replace?

im going to assume you have a touchpad for buttons on your control board,

and it sounds like the touchpad needs to be replaced. now you might be able

to just buy a new pad, or you may have to buy a new console (W/O the control board)....
