Frigidaire dryer will not turn on

I opened my dryer to stop it and several hours later when I tried to start it again it will not start. Turning the start knob makes a very quiet click. Have checked all power to the dryer avenues, nothing wrong there. Any suggestions?

Yes, I suspect that your "Timer" knob is toes up. Either call Frigidaire with the make, model# and Serial Number handy and see if you can still get the part from Frigidaire.

Of course if you still have the part's book, look it up there.

Do not go ordering parts until you are certian what you need. Do some testing of parts, switches etc brfore spening mony for items that do not need replacing

Besides the door switch, there should be a relay that could be bad. There could be a bad connection in the power to the timer. I think suggesting replacing one of the most expensive parts without checking the others was a bad answer.
