Frigidaire Dryer Belt for GLEH1642DS Combo

I have a new bought as is combo washer and dryer, the part that held the drum to the back came off, which broke the belt, I have got the drum back on but cannot figure how to get the belt back on and tightened, it wont tighten, please help?

If it is new wouldn't this be covered by warranty? The belt should have a tensioner pulley on an arm with a spring.

It does not have a warranty it was bought as is by my land lord, It does have a pulley that works as a tensioner but it wont tension or I have the belt incorrectly, so I cannot figure it out

The tensioner should pull in the direction of the drum as opposed to away from it. The spring must be attached to create the tension.
