    Fridge on too long
I just bought a used house that came with a Maytag fridge. The fridge seems to stay on far too long. I have turned the setting dial to mid-way (5 of 10), but it still stays on far too long compared to other fridges I've had. What could be the reason? What can I do to fix?

    Thanks!

    Hi,
Thank you for asking a question here, and Welcome to the site.
Have you used a flashlight, and looked underneath the fridge? Look to see if it's clogged off with dust. If so, you can use a vacuum cleaner, with attachment, to get rid of some of it.
There are also brushes made just for the purpose of removing dust buildup around the coils underneat the fridge.
If that doesn't work, then it could be low on gas.
I do wish you the best, and good luck.
