    Freezer is cold but refrigerator is not
    Hello all. My refrigerator is ESTATE model TT184KXDW00. I found the refrigerator is not cold at all but the freezer is working. Please advise what I could do. Many Thanks!

    The little squirrel running around in the cage is taking a coffee break. Seriously, you have a freezer fan motor that died and needs replaced. Call a service guy. Depending on the part the whole shebang with service call should be less than $90. Call around to get the best service call rate. This problem will not magically cure itself either. In the meantime try to store your food properly so it won't go bad or spoil until you can get a repair guy out there.

    Both are likely problems but it could also be that your circulation is blocked by a build up of ice on the coil due to a bad defrost heater. Packing frig to its normal capacity, not totally full, makes it work more efficiently than if it were totally empty. Food is easier to keep cold than it is to keep air cold.

    Thanks Guys. I opened the back panel, found the fan stopped running and the ice built up blocking the air way to the refrigerator, I cleared the ice and spinned the fan. It works now.

    If you had to spin the fan to get it started, it is on it's way out. Better get a new fan motor to have on hand

    I very much agree with Doug and would not even button up the frig. Get a new fan motor, the old one will fail to start again at any time.
