Electric Dryers with a gas conversion

I have a Kenmore Elite Dryer but we put a Gas conversion on it 2 years ago because it was an old house and it wasn't set up for an electric dryer. Well since then I have divorced and used another old dryer. The old one died on me and is making a clicking sound. So I would like to take the gas conversion off of the Kenmore. How hard would that be? I know there was a kit we used. How would I find out how to reverse it? I can't afford a plumber right now, and need to do it myself. Help! Katie

I would not recommend this as a diy project. You better wait until you can get it done by a tech

Thank you, thats what I figured. Now maybe if I can figure out what is wrong with my other dryer and use it. When I push the start button, it just clicks. I tend to think my start button is out. What do you think? I really appreciate your feed back. I checked all the basics--the plug, the door closed, the door button, ect.... Help! Katie

Do you know how to get into unit to do some testing? Do you have a meter? If so maybe you can do testing and get it going.
