Be sure there's a shutoff and a connector on the gas line that's already there.

The dryer might come with a flexible line to hook up to it, but there are a few different sizes...so if it fits, then connect it to your line and you're set. If it does not fit, just go out and buy a new fitting for your gas line that fits the other end of the flex line.

The dryer instructions will probably indicate how tight to crank those fittings down.

You'll just use a pipe or adjustable wrench. Don't use any sealant compound or tape.

Is there a shut off for the gas at the dryer? If not you need one. Flex gas hose and connect. If you go to your local hardwre store they can fix you up.
