Check the breaker that powers the washer to make sure its getting power. If the power is good put test leads on the fill valve solenoid in the front left corner of the washer just behind the kick plate. If the solenoid gets power but does not fill then replace the solenoid, about $20. If the solenoid is not getting power then your timer may be bad and that's bad for you, much more work and expense. How old is the washer?
