When I came home ( at 7:00 a.m.) from an out of state funeral & traveling all nite my wife said the furnace quit we're out of oil . Without checking I went out & got 20 Gal. to hold us over until we got a delivery the next day. Next, things unfolded thusly,we weren't out of oil & burner would not come on. Replaced the filter, but when removing pump cover to replace screen & gasket I broke the very last bolt, then broke easy out off in hole. Next I replaced pump, cleaned out burner & still it wouldn't run for any length of time, the latest thing is it emits smoke out boiler cover & around motor.
Sometimes it quits on its own, or the motor & pump run, but no fire, or I have to turn it off because of smoking problem. Any idea's? Joe
