Bosch Convection Oven Model HES2xxU

Our two year old Bosh convection oven has just started to emit a smell that smells electrical. Almost as if the fan was the source, but not sure. The oven is spotless, so I can exclude a dirty oven. Has anyone had a convection oven that has exhibited similar characteristics and knows about a solution.
