    Amana commercial 8 cycle dryer LEA80AW
    We have been looking for the timer part for this dryer which says it's an 8 cycle. But the only thing we can find is a 5 cycle. Does anyone know if this is the right part for this machine?

    Here is a parts diagram area and a parts cost area. NO 8 cycle listed. NOTE that model number does not state commercial so the part may not be available for yours.

Amana Gas Dryer won't heat on heat cycle [ 2 Answers ]

I have an Amana gas dryer about 10 years old. The dryer will heat and the timer will advance on the timer cycle but it will not heat on the heat/more heat cycle. I have cleaned the lint vent entirely. I can see the ignitor get red hot and then ignites the gas on the timed setting. I am not sure...

One of the first problems is the clothes take too long to dry. When I open the dryer up the heat comes right at me. And the second problem is the dryer keeps turning off and when I press the dial. All I can hear is the timer and it won't start back up for awhile.
