Location of program installer

I have downloaded and removed and re-downloaded the Comodo Antivirus software a few times and it turned out I have 5 installer shortcuts showing on the screen. Will simply deleting the short cuts be a complete removal of the extra ones or do I need to do something to completely remove the extra installers. If yes, how do I do it?

If you can see same programs installed in the control panel then keep one of them or if you can see only one program then you can delete all the shortcuts which are showing on the desktop but you need to check it. Whenever we uninstall any software or program then it's remove shortcut also.
