skin problem

I have a really annoying problem - I have dandruff that doesn't shed and come loose. The skin of my scalp literally dies in chunks but doesn't fall off like normal dandruff. I have to scrape it off every single day or else I'm plagued with itching. Some of it is in the form of flakes, others are scales, ranging in color from white to gray to yellow. Is this a medical problem that's been recognized before or am I the first victim of a new dandruff disease? If anyone can give me any help or hope at all, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

Re: skin problem

While it is hard to diagnose a condition from a simple post, it sounds like Seborrhoeic Dermatitis, also known as common dandruff. You should see a dermatologist to see if you also have a fungal/yeast infection that can be associated with this condition. You could try one of the many over the counter dandruff shampoos and creams to see if it clears up with these, and if not, go see the dermatologist.

Sorry, but it looks like you won't get that disease named after yourself after all. ;D

Re: skin problem

I seem to be on a tea tree oil kick...
I had a similar problem and was told that it was actually oily scalp as opposed to dry... and a HIGH GRADE TEA TREE OIL SHAMPOO really helped me.

Powerful and Natural Original Limu with Fucoidan

I had flaky skin like crazy and often I would find myself scraping it off my scalp. Ever since I started taking Original Limu, my dry flaky skin has become a thing of the past.

I will also tell you that a friend of mine with an open wound in his leg for over 20 years experienced a healing over of the wound with hair returning to the area in just a few weeks taking Original Limu.

Check out the thread on Hypertension on the main Thread "Cpnditions and Diseases" for Hypertension and Hepatitis C for more information on Original Limu.

Original Limu has been reported by many to have dramatically improved their blood pressure, blood cholesterol, blood sugar and blood thickness. It also is a terrific skin rejuvenator and helps clear up acne. People with autoimmune diseases like MS, lupus, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, etc. are reporting outstanding results with Original Limu. Other reports regarding Original Limu come regarding asthma, allergies, sinusitis, depression, bipolar disorder, ADD and ADHD, arthritis and pain in general, migraines, thyroid problems, etc.

I would love to help you get a new lease on life. Let me help you at www.limunight.originallimu.com or [email address] or 979-297-1919. Be blessed.

One Solution:

You might want to hustle down to the nearest drugstore and purchase a bottle of T/Gel made by Neutrogena. It's the best darn shampoo on the market. I had what you have and it cleared it up within five days. T/Gel is alcohol free! Once your condition clears up, shampoo at least twice a week ... especially if you sweat quite a bit or work construction. If this doesn't work, see a Dermatologist!

it has been my experience with dandruff of this sort, first thing is to lay off all meat any animal products. this is typical of someone that has an allergy to the protein, amongst other things in animal products. most specialists will tell you at least 1 month, but we have found 3-6 months show the best results. will you be able to go back to animal products? this depends on how much fun you are having removing this stuff from your scalp every day. you may notice it getting worse or coming back as you introduce it back into your system. may need to change shampoos and shampoo more often and get your scalp out in some sun daily 5-15 minutes slowly increasing to no more than 10-15 per area. peace ranieri
