i'm very irritable and angry.for no good reason.

almost two years ago i was put on paxil for aniexty and depression. i stopped taking the pill two weeks ago and feel 100% in the areas for anxiety and drepression, unfortuantly...since i've stopped taking it i'm soooo angry and very irritable. i feel like i could snap at the drop of a hat, and the things that are making me angry are very silly. is there anything natural or any tips anyone has to help out...??

thank you...i don't want to live my life this way..

Why did you stop taking it? You're not supposed to stop without talking with your doctor first.

Wonder girl is right

Vitamin B complex and omega fatty acid are good for stablizing your mood.

MSM, 5htp,
st johns wart or SAMe

I wouldn't take all those but try different ones and see what works best.

Exercise, music and aromatherapy are good too.

Like NOhelp4u said you can try music, like maybe angery music.

I have always been irritable and angery. I started drinking and doing drugs to try and overcome the anger.

That didn't help and eventually I found angery music. I Found bands that often yell there lyrics and sound angery while their lyrics actually have a positive message.

I've been sober for 2 years listening to all types of loud angery music and I don't feel helpless or pissed off.

this is a great song by Stick To Your Guns about overcoming anger

YouTube - STICK TO YOUR GUNS: This is More

and here are the lyrics

http://www.sweetslyrics.com/348111.S...Is%20More.html

This music can fall into the genre of Hardcore or Heavy Metal. Other Bands I listen to are:
For the Fallen Dreams, The Ghost Inside, Terror, etc.

What you are experiencing is quite normal reaction to not taking Paxil. If you've gotten along without it for 2 weeks your symptoms should go away within another week. If you feel better don't go back to taking that stuff. I've read all sorts of adverse conditions associated with this drug. You're better off without it. It served it's purpose, now live your life without it.

Well, if you don't wanna tied upto these medications, go for some gentler options like homeopathy. Try the following and see if they help. They generally do.

Nux vom (6C) is a tissue salt used as a cellular nutrient for the nervous system and brain to support calmed mood and balanced emotions.

Chamomilla (6C) is a soothing natural remedy frequently used when the emotional reaction seems out of proportion to the situation or event.

Lycopodium (6C) is a homeopathic remedy used to address symptoms experienced by individuals who are said to be ‘highly strung’ or volatile.

You may get more info on these homeopathic ingredients for anger here.
