My arms and hands fall asleep what could it be
When I sleep at night my hands and arms fall painfully asleep. My husband says its because I'm fat:( they also fall asleep if I hold my arms up and sometimes when I'm driving. Sometimes so bad that my arm hurts for days after. I can't seem to catch any relief

I'm not a physical therapist (although I worked for one for two years), and am guessing there is something going on in your neck with nerves being pinched by cervical vertebrae.

My advice: Find a reputable chiropractor or shiatsu practitioner (acupressure) who will check your neck alignment and will adjust it so nerves aren't being pinched.

Please post again and let us know how you're doing.
