I would like to get information about rehabing apple trees.
The tree's belong to a friend. There are two.
For several years the tree's have produced fruit that is knarly
and not really edable. They are badly thatched and need
pruned. I have read several articles on pruning them but I am
not finding direct information on remedying pests and fertilization. I would like to help him get the tree's to produce
worm free nicely formed edable fruit at their best.
To produce nice apples requires frequent spraying starting maybe before the blossoms form. I would suggest looking at sprays where gardening supplies are sold, and following the directions on the package.
