im 27 im not on birth control due to a hereditry blood disorder ( ledon factor five ) i have been having a brownish coulered period for 3 months now instead of my normal period i had an abortion 9 months ago and was tested for stds ( came back neg ) i have been with the same partner for nearly 2 yrs what could be wrong?

This could very well have to do with your Factor V Leiden. It is something that you should seriously take up with your doctor to make sure that it has nothing to do with a thrombosis or blood clot.

Due to your blood condition I would really be afriad to advise over the internet regarding your question here. It should be addressed directly with your doctor, especially since it has been going on for quite some time.
