My last period started 5-9-07 and I am expecting my next period 6-6-07. I just got back on birth control pills I was off them for a month, but am not very good about taking them everyday and when I do take them it isn't at the same time. I am married so of course I have unprotected sex. Starting yesterday(5-28-07) I began having brownish discharge. I only notice it when I wipe in the morning and at night, but during the day I am noticing it more and having to wear a panty liner (it seems like the beginning of a very light period). This has gone on for 2 days now. Do you think I have messed up my hormones by being irregular with my birth control? I am usually very regular with my periods.

Could be implantation bleeding I would wait and take a pregnancy test. It would help to know when you ovulated and if you had sex on that day or around that day.

Brown discharge is usually old blood. I assume that it's from not taking the pill regularly, but I don't really know
