If you want to remove Norton, why not go to the control panel and use "add/remove program?" It may ask to restart after... Good luck!

Because Norton is insidious in how deeply it sinks its hooks into the OS, so that The uninstall utility doesn't root it all out. That's whay its better to use the tool symantec provides.

Aside to Rick; looks like firefollowed is another of those trolls going around giving negative ratings. I think its time to see if the Admins can get the ability to remove or edit a rating.
